KIDS’ CBC DAYS

July 5, 2012 Leave a Comment

 THE WHAT: Kids’ CBC Days

THE WHEN: July 18 and 19

THE DEETS:  KIDS’ CBC DAYS invites parents and young children to experience two special days at the CBC Broadcasting Centre in Toronto.  Children will have the chance to sing and dance alongside their favourite Kids’ CBC stars, while enjoying all of the fun, free activities that both days have to offer.

Kids will have the chance to meet some of the characters from a variety of hit Kids’ CBC series including: Kids’ Canada hosts Patty, Sid and Captain Claw, Artzooka! host Jeremie, Dr. Seuss’s beloved Cat in the Hat, Huckle from Busytown Mysteries, Super WHY! and his new friend Woofster, Bo on the Go!, The Doodlebops and everyone’s favourite yam, Mamma Yamma.

Activities include: Monster Math Squad, Kids’ CBC Interactive Zone, Artzooka! What’s Your News? desk, Turbo Dogs inflatable obstacle course, Get on the Go with Bo on the Go, Animal Mechanical Puzzles, Gofrette Paint, Are We There Yet? Global Animal Safari, Busytown dress up area, Pirates: Adventures in Art mask making, Super WHY! alphabet activity with momstown, face painting and tattoos.

THE WHERE: Where: CBC Broadcasting Centre Atrium – 250 Front Street West, Toronto, ON Admission: FREE

PARENT CLUB FYI: This is a fun day out but be warned Parent Club peeps – it is a REALLY BUSY environment.  There are hundreds of kids, caregivers and even day cares visiting (free things are a good attraction n’est pas?).  I have taken my kids to Kids’ CBC days in the past and have really enjoyed it…however, it is one of those outings where it is handy to go with another family and have to adult sets of eyes and hands to watch over kids.  That said…it is a fun day out.
