Family Adventure at Blue Mountain

June 27, 2012 9 Comments

Planning a family vacation or just ready to day-trip on a dime? Blue Mountain Resort is a destination which offers families 4 season activities and tons-o-fun.  The bonus: it’s a domestic destination meaning no international flights or out of province road tripping for GTA families.

Located 2 hours from Toronto (plan it right and you could do the drive during nap time!) Blue Mountain Resort is close to home but once you’re there – you feel like you are in another world!

Follow the Parent Club review series through these links to get a virtual taste of things to enjoy at Blue Mountain Resorts.

Check in with us at The Westin Trillium House where we find family comfort and a surprise which makes feeding the kids easier.

Get ready to get your craft on at Crock A Doodle where we paint our own pottery

Get your mouth watering as we eat at The Pottery Restaurant where casual dining meets family.

Adventure with us at the Scenic Caves where families disconnect from their everyday routines and connect with each other.

Play outside with us in Family Activities at Blue Mountain Resorts where we share the deets on pay-as-you-go family activities as well as FREE activities for kids of all ages at Blue Mountain Village.

Then, sink your teeth into our review of Firehall Pizza Co. where wood oven pizza pleases the pickiest of eaters.

Splash over and read our review of Plunge! Aquatic Centre (splashing is highly recommended!).

Vacation, staycation or just in need of a family friendly destination…the family fun at Blue Mountain is waiting for you.

Disclosure: I had the opportunity to experience Blue Mountain Resort first hand.  Serious. Good. Fun. The opinions in this post are my own.

Our family goes to Blue Mountain at least once a year. We usually stay at the Blue and always head out to the Aquatic Centre. The new Ridgecoaster is tonnes of fun. My then 3 and 5 year olds wanted to keep going on it last summer. I’d love to see their new mini golf and one day try the scenic caves. I think I saw a deal on Wag Jag to stay at the Westin Trillium. I should look into it. Thanks for sharing your review!

Looks like a great place for an extended-family gathering! Lots of activities for the cousins to enjoy together with separate rooms for each family to retire to at the end of the day. We’ll put it on our list of excellent destination for the family! Thanks!
