My family field trip

February 20, 2009 3 Comments

There’s that SuperMom logo again (signalling an impending fan-ta-bu-lous thought/act on my part – and never-ever pertaining to laundry). I have made reservations for a family field trip at a not-to-be-named-hotel-in-the-city (well – I’ll name it on Monday if you like).

See it’s my birthday. That’s hotel-worthy don’t you think? My parents gave us a hotel gift certificate (ugh…um…Christmas 2007 I believe) that I’m finally getting around to using. Let us blow this pop stand!

Crazy – I know – but I’m taking the kids with me. See, we ALL have a MAJOR case of BLAHS (at least from the mood of the household – we all seem pretty nutty). This hotel has a family pool, wading pool, water slide, kid activity centre (a-ha Arts & Crafts!) and add in the thrill a sleepover…this is my family field trip for February.

We did a mini-weekend-vacation at an indoor water park in Niagara Falls (no, not Great Wolf – however if Great Wolf is reading – invite us pah-leez!). Anywho…the Niagara weekend was totally-fantastically-awesome (ok – my prince thought it was so-so — but he’s French). It was a get away. A get together. It was all good.

I’m looking forward to check-in — just so I can check outta here.

Sounds lovely! Our house has “the blahs”, too, not sure how to beat them. LOVE the super mom logo!!

Update: The Things packed their suitecase this morning at 7:16am. Complete with toothbrushes, bandaids and mini-kleenx packs. (seriously – they packed band-aids — what kind of ADVENTURE are they expecting?!)It was hard to tell them they had to wait one more sleep.
