- Advise your children NOT to share hats or hair accessories
- After washing hair use a leave in conditioner with tea tree oil (THIS ONE is available at Loblaw in the natural health section). Tea tree oil is a natural germicide. Also like just don’t like it.
- Use hair products, such as; a light dose of hair spray or gel. Lice only like “clean” hair as they can attach to the shafts. Hair with product is not as appealing to the creatures.
- For a natural option; fill a spray bottle with water and a few drops of tea tree oil (available at Shoppers Drug Mart in the Natural health section).
