I’m stocking up on my back-to-school snacks these days. And this post will help make one lucky Parent Club reader’s back-to-school snack shopping a whole lot easier…EnviroKidz Crispy Rice Bars are better Back-to-School snacks + GIVEAWAY. Our friends at EnviroKidz are giving away a whole back-to-school season’s worth of EnviroKidz Crispy Rice Bars…sounds yummy n’est pas?…
I’ve shared before that my family has eaten Envirokidz cereals for years. Gorilla Munch is their favourite and they will eat it as a school snack, after-school snack, and even a car trip snack (dry cereal is so versatile that way).
What I like, as a Mom, about the EnviroKidz Crispy Rice Bars is that they are gluten free, organic, and quite honestly…yummy. The chocolate crispy rice bars are a bit of a favourite here. And they are certified organic & non-GMO project verified (and I love that). These crispy bars are also made with whole grain ingredients (which is pretty much how I always buy our back-to-school snacks).
Now I will note: some of the crispy bars include peanut butter flavours. I note this because most schools (and extra-curriculars) are nut free zones. Therefore, I suggest enjoying the peanut butter and peanut coco crispy rice bars in the comfort of your home (after-school snack idea!).

EnviroKidz is sending three lucky families on an EnviroTrip to Costa Rica to help save the sea turtles at SEE Turtles, a non-profit wildlife conservation travel operator in the beautiful OSA peninsula. Three lucky winners and their families (three groups of 4 people) will get an all-expense paid trip to Costa Rica in March 2015. They will spend three days working with Costa Rican organization SEE Turtles to catch endangered green and hawksbill sea turtles in the Golfo Dulce, a beautiful gulf located alongside the Osa Peninsula. They will help researchers set out nets, measure the turtles, and collect important data before releasing them back to the water. In addition, the winners will participate in a mangrove restoration project, helping to plant two species of mangrove trees that are critical to turtles and other wildlife of the Gulf. Finally, the winners will visit a chocolate farm to see how the world’s favourite treat is made!
