I had a great experience ordering glasses for myself online via clearlycontacts.ca a few months ago. It was easy (and a lot less expensive than brick and mortar eye-glass shops). No line ups. No long check out. And the shipping was fast! So it made sense, when searching for kid glasses, to check out clearlycontacts.ca: Frames For Kids (TEASER: #Giveaway below!).
I know – you are thinking – “how do you try on glasses when you buy them online?!“. I know…I’m a try-on-glasses-girl-too. clearlycontacts.ca has thought of shoppers like us. They not only have a product view (where you see glasses from different view points) – they also have a TRY ON VIEW where you choose an image (boy/girl, man/lady – with different face shapes and ethnicity) to ‘try on’ your glasses. It made for an easier shopping experience with my tween – she could narrow her choices (she knew she wanted plastic and black with no nose pads) and then ‘try’ the glasses on a an image of a tween who had her same face shape and colouring.
To size the glasses, you follow the simple size measurements which is on the left side of every clearlycontacts.ca page (pictured above). I used a regular school ruler to measure the height, width and length (no fancy tools required!). I imputed the prescription as it was on the Rx the optometrist gave us. And done. In under 20 minutes – glasses were chosen and ordered!
Arriving safely by courier – the glasses were packed super well (I had to take them out of the case to show you the sizing of the box – snug as a bug – to fit the glass case). In the sealed box were: the glasses and invoice PLUS a bottle of glass cleaner, a key chain screwdriver (to fix any future loose eye-glass screws) and a microfiber cloth for lens cleaning…small details which make a big impact when it comes to customer experience.
I’ve browsed and bought glasses for years (so I am confident to say I have expertise in this area)…and by far…clearlycontacts.ca has been the easiest eye-glass shopping I have ever done.
Parent Club, together with clearlycontacts.ca wants to make eye-glass shopping a little easier for one lucky reader!
