Adventure {Wordless Wednesday w linky}

I had to share my recent culinary trip around the world. Best night out I’ve had in a long time – I was invited to the launch of the new Scotiabank Gold American Express Card and the theme of the event was travel (smart because the points earned on the new card can go towards your next vacation).  Not only was it nice to hang with some twitter friends – I had the opportunity to hang out in a real hangar (how often can you say that?)

Took ferry to Toronto Island airport: destination hangar!

Yes, that’s a real plane.

A plane is a must-take-photo-op right?

Dinner menus were disguised as passports and we went on a “culinary” trip around the world.

Shout out to the best date a gal can have – Diana.

Your comments are appreciated and links to your own Wordless Wednesday posts most welcome.

      It was very smartly done…they sent “boarding passes” (with date, location and hours info), the tables were themed as countries (I sat at Mexico) and the location was travel specific. If I were to host a party I would use some of these ideas!

      Toronto Island Airport hangar – it was a special event. But wouldn’t it be good to have a restaurant like that?!

    I really liked the theme of this night and those passports on the plate were an awesome idea!
